1st Annual Dani Duggan Fine Arts Festival – Saturday, May 20

Join us on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11am-3pm for a celebration of visual and performing arts: The 1st Annual Dani Duggan Fine Arts Festival at Middleborough High School. Students will provide live music, theatrical performances, art galleries, as well as a film festival. We come together to celebrate the life and work of Dani Duggan with several remembrances and tributes throughout the festival.

We dedicate this Fine Arts Festival in Dani Duggan’s name. Dani lived for the arts, and her students. A leader, educator, friend – she deeply cared for her students, and in return they fueled her fire, for life, education, the arts. Her support reached beyond the black-box; teaching the whole student and supporting their many needs – and to say the least, her students would have to agree. She was never afraid to let her voice be heard; a true advocate of the arts and equality in all aspects of our community. Her students speak of Dani with admiration. As a mentor, she developed true connections with those who she taught. She was a guiding light to countless students here at Middleboro High School, and was always there for those in need. Duggan created a legacy that she could have never imagined. A teacher like Duggan is one in a million. Today we celebrate her life, accomplishments and the lasting impact she has left on our students, past and present, as a community at Middleboro High School.
